Gurteen Knowledge
This is a
group of practitioners, educators and researchers working in Knowledge
Management in South Australia.
|
The Gurteen KM Cafe in Adelaide is an opportunity for us to meet and exchange ideas, information, thoughts, views and ideas on how we are actually using KM successfully, and to 'spread the word' about the benefits of a connected KM society. Many of us are already associated with colleagues in other states and territories in Australia and elsewhere who are busily working away on their KM projects. So let's also find out what they are doing and importantly how they are doing it; and what works, and what sometimes doesn't.

Local Firm wins Award:
Congratulations to Adelaide based company Woods Bagot. They have just won a MAKE award (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises) More details at. http://www.knowledgebusiness.com/knowledgebusiness/Templates/ReadKnowledgeLibrary.aspx?siteId=1&menuItemId=33&contentHeaderId=6021Much of this was driven by the Knowledge Manager, Felicity McNish, and the solutions had to cover places from Adelaide and Sydney, to Beijing and Dubai. Felicity has done this with significant management buy-in and strong technical support. Felicity is a member of the Gurteen Knowledge Café in Adelaide, and Woods Bagot provides us with a venue. Well done all round, and its good to have a KM success of this standing. |
